Announcement about Second Recruitment of GLP-GEfIL Students

Application documents acceptance period ended on 31st August, 2016, however, please notify GLP-Office no later than 16th September, Friday, 17:00 if you are in the following criteira;

・If you have NOT applied to GLP-GEfIL Second recruitment due to the lack of TOEFL/IELTS score record, and If you will be able to obtain either TOEFL or IELTS score record before an interview period begins on 6th October

Number of recruitment
Up to 100 students

Target student
Full-time undergraduate Year 2 students (non-PEAK) and Year 1 for PEAK students

Required qualification
  1. Completed or will compete GLP Designated Course worth 6 credits or more from at least two out of three categories;'Global Education','Foreign Languages' and 'Problem-solving and practical skill subjects'
  2. Acceptance of Faculty to progress Year 3 (PEAK Year 2). ; Any student who fails to advance Year 3 (PEAK Year 2) will retrospectively be cancelled the admission to GLP-GEfIL.

Selection criteria
The screening process will be based on all of the following criteria:
  1. Demonstrated strong motivation to act as future innovator and team-leader on the global stage
  2. High level of English competence(TOEFL iBT score of min. 100 or IELTS of 7.0), as the entire GEfIL program is conducted in English; However, students with a core slightly below this requirement will also be considered for admission and their Enlish proficiency will be evaluated comperehensively through the application documents and the interview.
  3. Following points will also be considered.
    ・Good academic performance in Year 1 and Year 2 (transcript of academic record)
    ・Ability and commitment to undertake GEfIL program alongside the requirements of your major

Selection Method
The selection process consists of a motivational statement and an interview conducted in English (only for those who have passed screening of application documents).
